Tarte recently released the limited edition blush palette, the Big Book of Blush Volume Three as a part of their Holiday 2017 campaigns. We will have a look at this Amazonian clay blush palette more in details in this review.

This palette boasts seven full-sized blushes and one full-sized highlighter. Each of these pan weighs 0.20 oz, which is a generous amount and it claims to wear up to twelve hours.

This palette includes variety of blush colours from neutral, peach and rose toned blushes. Each blush named differently and comes in different finishes like matte and shimmer.

Heated is a hot coral shade, Kindred is cool nude shade, Rad is hot pink shade, Peachy is peach coloured shade, Mindful is nude pink shade, Poised is true pink shade, Lavish is coral shade and Spirited is a champagne highlight. Peachy is the only blush that has shimmer finish to it while the others are matte. The highlighter included in this palette has a nice subtle shimmer to it, which gives natural glow on the skin.

These blushes are quite pigmented, I think a light handed application is all we need. It is easily build-able and not patchy.  We can mix the colours up as well to create a slight different variations of blush colours. And this will give us multiple combination of colours to try on. Tarte claims that these blushes are vegan and it is also oil-free so it won’t cause any breakouts on oily skin.

The packaging for these blushes are quite convenient in my opinion since we can easily take each pan out and place it to another stand alone palette like the Z palette that we already owned if we want to travel with it.

In general, I’m quite pleased with this purchase. It costs AUD$90 from the Tarte website tartecosmetics.com. Breaking down the price, that comes to about AUD$11.25 for each full-sized pan. Very reasonably priced I reckon!
