First of all, let’s start by applying the rest of the makeup such as foundation blush, bronzer, highlighter and eyebrow colour.
Leave the eye areas bare and use any eye primer of your choice before applying any eye makeup. I used the Too Faced 24-hour Shadow Insurance.
After eye-primer, I applied MAC Cream base colour in Nude all over the lids.
I used Chanel Illusion D’Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadow in Fantasme (No. 81), since it is in a cream form so I didn’t need to use glitter glue. This eyeshadow comes in a sturdy pot and a mini brush. It has an extraordinary jelly-like texture and feel to it. The cream is soft and buttery to the touch and once it dries out it stays for six hours on my lids.
Then, apply this beautiful glittery eyeshadow cream from the inner corner of the eyes up to the lids. Leave the outer corner of the eyes bare for a different eyeshadow.
You can use any glitter eyeshadow that you already have in your collection, just make sure to use glitter glue type primer before applying it.
Apply matte mid-tone shade eyeshadow to the crease of the eyes. Then, apply a darker matte shade to the outer corner of the eyes blending upward.
I used the Viseart eyeshadow palette in Warm Matte and Cool Matte.
Use a little concealer under the eyes in case of glitter fall-out after eye makeup is done.
Apply False Lashes of your choice. Curl it up together with your natural lashes afterwards and then apply mascara.
I used the Shu Uemura eyelash curler and Urban Decay Cannonball waterproof mascara.
Apply black eyeliner to hide the false lashes’ band and then create a winged/ cat-eye look. I used the MacQueen pen liner as I found the brush is easier to control.
Apply red lipstick. I used the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bachelorette. Use a matching lip liner to create a precise line around the lips.
There you have it. Have fun trying out this look and enjoy your party!
